Paperback. For more than seventy-five years THE REAL MOTHER GOOSE has been delighting millions of children, and today the magic is as strong as ever. Heralded as the "standard" Mother Goose by parents, grandparents, teachers, and librarians, this wonderful book, "The Real Mothers Goose is Cooked!" takes a wonderful and funny twist on some of the old classics, making them more comical and interesting for your children. From nonsense to lessons learned, these are completely new twists on classic nursery rhymes that include the very well-known (Itsy Bitsy Spider) and (Baker Man). For example instead of "Humpty Dumpty" now it's a character named "Chumpty Wumpty" that falls off a ladder! These new rhymes are re-imagined to make your child point out the funny differences or just fall in love with the new. Every nursery rhyme and illustration is meant to be a gentle and whimsical rhyme with no allusions to death or punishments like many of the old rhymes often were. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…
