Spice

Vanilla, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, and all that
spice!

Good God Almighty, you sure do look, smell,
and taste so nice!

To take it even further, and be more precise,
I think I want you around me, all the days
of my life!

Cheap and Thoughtless

Never spending a nickel,
never spending a dime,
cheap and thoughtless comes empty handed,
all the time.

Cheap and thoughtless is stingy and selfish too.
Hitting and missing is just, what he do.

With cheap and thoughtless, there are no fringes,
benefits, or agreements, ever made.

It seems the only end result, is that you get laid.
And laid you get, whether good or bad.

Just chalk it up to experience, and don't get mad.
Cheap and thoughtless may be, the best lover
You ever, had.

Listen, and one day you'll hear him say, we can
Take it easy, we can take it slow.
Just put it on my tab baby, it's only
You, that I owe.

Lover Man

He's bouncing off the walls, acting like
he's ten feet tall.
When he's making love to you, you're his
everything and all.

All or nothing is the game he plays.
He never lets anything stand in his ways.

Silky smooth, is how he flows.
Moving to his own beat, is what he knows.

Be careful girl you better stay on your toes.
Lover man, will get his hat and away
he goes.

What? Did you think he came to stay?
Honey, he only wanted you, for a day.

Easy

Dark as night,
gentle as rain.

It touches you in places, that drive
you insane.

Try as you might, to stop its claim.

I tell you now, the result is always
the same.

Easy come, easy go, you'll never, ever,
tell easy no.

Soft and sweet, with motives oh so deep.

Easy will leave you truly feeling ummmh,
so complete.

I've Done So Much

When you know, you have done so
much.
Or taken advantage of, and such.

Is there anyone, to hold my hand?
Who will tell me, they really understand.

My love runs deep, for everyone I
allow in this place.
Is there someone who will make me
feel pretty, when I'm wearing my ruffles and my lace.

Family, friends, lovers too, are continually
pulling for more.
I've done so much it's hard for me, to
even keep score.

To give from your heart, will pull you
in every direction.
It's difficult to please them, while their
forever needing, so much correction.

I am misunderstood, because of my
protective nature.
That's because I want to correct, and
lovingly nurture.

Why do I have to struggle, to win
their love and affection.
I hope that one day I will be shown,
a little respect and appreciation.

I hope through this poem, it is made
perfectly clear.
I am desperately holding close, all that are dear.
finally I need to say, that loosing
anyone of them, is truly my greatest fear.

Emotions Lost

Lost in the evolution of time.
sweet tender emotions, that will never
be mine.

Love, is an emotion that you feel.
Without loves emotion, love with affection
simply, can never be real.

Without loves emotion, there is no way
to measure loves loss or its cost.
no way to know the yard stick, rule, or
gauge to see whether you've won or lost.

Cold and empty, deprived of love, with
feelings of emotions tossed.
We wait for a way, a place, a time.
When emotions are here, and not lost.

Mister

Infectious, without a virus or a
wound.

Harmonious, without a sound.

Loud, but a secret so silent, so deep.

Aggressive, but not you he's trying to
Keep.

Charming, never lacking style.

Dazzling, with his warm gentle smile.

Curious, when his interest is peaked.

Cautious, only if he needs to sneak.

Eyes, that hide their true meaning.

Never, a woman is he really needing.

06/10/2009

Depression

How dark, how black, how deep.
You hender, you render me incomplete.

Hopelessly, I struggle against defeat.
While desperately, my sanity I try to
Keep.

So with issues, I dare not repeat.
Now I lay me down, to sleep.

The Method Man

He's Methodical, his systematic and
complexed too.
Organized, original and so doggone cool.
His mind, full of his own techniques.
Trying to play you, for the fool.
He's got time frames, mind games and silly
plans and rules.

Speaking parables, arranging, setting in
order, a plan to manipulate and use you
like a tool.

It's The Method Mans way and no other
way, that's how it will stand.
So catch me if I fall,
That may be the only way,
I am able to land.

Sensual Woman

Smooth, easy, graceful, tasteful.
Every mans dream-fulfilled, she's ideal.
She's living life, with so much appeal.

Sensual woman moves, like a melody
flowing soft and gentle
She causes a small fire, with in men
to kindle.

She has a touch, that's comforting and
soothing.
Her touch is also arousing, and moving.

Playing to a mans tune, catering to his beat.
She will never leave him hanging, or
incomplete.

Slow and easy is her style.
When making love, she will always go the
Extra mile.

Do? Or Don't/
Sensual Woman, will always tell you, if
She will or she won't.

What Sensual Woman gives, is given
Without reservation.

She expects for a man to treat her good,
With no hesitation.

So pay attention, mister.
Don't let yourself, become a cancellation.

He Never Wanted Her

He Never Wanted Her!
Many times he told her, he never would commit.
Then he promised her, only fun and games,
Could she get.

He Never Wanted Her!
The chances of him choosing her, were more
Than very slim.
Always hoping for his love, she only wanted
to be with him.

He Never Wanted Her!
He was faking and toying with her emotions.
While taking the love she gave, and all of her
devotions.

He Never Wanted Her!
She's all alone, it's no surprise, he didn't
even lie.
From him, there is no reply.

He Never Wanted Her!
So, he quit.
Yes, he's gone.
The man has split.

Guess What?
He Never Wanted Her!

Picture This

Picture This:
In love, you and I, our world has no envy,
Bitterness, no strife.
Why, should we part?
Let's stay together, for the rest of our life.

Picture Time:
A cottage in the country, is where we'll live.
To you only, all my love, I will give.
This place is cool, calm, and clear.
My space is serene and I'm totally void of fear.
Left behind are dark days of mistrust,
heartache and pain.
With enlightened minds, we move forward.
Knowing a better way to live and a smarter
way to gain.

Picture This:
We see things, with a different point of view, in
a greater light.
We've made up our minds, no fuss, no fight.
Loving each other, you and me.
That is how, it's going to be.
Picture This, Perfect.

The Package

So cleverely wrapped, with a bow it's tied.
You can't help wanting, to look inside.
Pleasing to the eye, oh so pleasant to see.
Does it contain a treat, for both you and me?

The insides of The Package, will never show.
Unless you except the package, it's secrets
you will never know.

See inside The Package, look, listen and weep.
The package may cause you trauma, even loss
of sleep.

So private are the things, inside.
Complexities, involvements, games and the
many times, it lied.
Concealments, whisperings, moans and groans.
Sounds The Package would hide, but cannot
Be denied.

All has been revealed, everything The Package
Tried to conceal.
Keep it? Let it go? Say it's a lousy so and so?

Here's a tip, boys and girls.
Stand up, say what's on your mind.
Take the ride, no matter what you find.

If you have faith and believe that God can.
Then out of The Package may come, God's devine
Plan.

Lonely Women

Lonely Women, both young and old.
It doesn't matter how, the story is told.

Give a little here, take a little there.
A lonely woman, must know her limits and
What her heart can bear.

Lonely Women, are looking for love.
Most of the time, from a love them, leave
them, man.
Who will take advantage of them, just
because he can.

Lonely Women, moving slow or are you
Moving to fast?
Just how long, can you lay on your back
and last?

Listen ladies, you may have to hit your
knees.
Then become a class act, with a pass and
a ticket, to please.

Did I embarrass you?
Well, I'll take the shame.

Stop and think about it sisters, how long
Will you be able to stay, in this game?

12/19/2009

Gertrude

Moving back and forth, moving side to side.
Ooops! Did someone say, Gertrude just lied?

She's singing loud and hearty, she's singing
Soft and sweet.
Always looking for something, that's good enough
to eat.

Her sense of taste is sharp, she's quick
As lightening too.
Gertrude will say, it's an art.
I'll say, that it's true.

You will find, Gertrude's performance does
much to sensitive.
And even much more, to tantalize.

Now look at her, as she becons come hither.
Than I watch her, when she begins to quiver.
And if that were not enough, she now has
Begun to slither.

What? Or Who is Gertrude?

Derick, My Sweet Prince

Fun and games, was his agenda every day.
Happiness and jokes, was just Derick's way.

No one knew, how much he hurt inside.
By being a clown, his hurt could be denied.

The mask of funny, made Derick's life seem sunny.
There were always, shadows, clouds, and
lack of money.

Happy go Derick, is what you would see.
Putting a front on, for you and me.

Trusting everyone, and always taken advantage of.
Derick displayed, genuine kindness and love from above.

His sweet face of smiles.
His beautiful hazel eyes.
My poor Derick, was a victim of to many games
And so many lies.

His last breath drawn, his eyes still open.
My heart feels empty and oh, so, broken.

My Derick, my first born.
I will carry you, in my heart forever.
Goodbye, My Sweet Prince.
I Love You ... momma

Momma Helen

Eyes that were quick
No one could play her slick.

Momma Helen, only finished grade school.
But anyone can tell you, she was nobody's fool.

Hip swaying, belt laying, when correcting her
Children, Momma Helen wasn't playing.

Momma Helen was always cooking, washing,
Clothing and feeding.
When mental and emotional stimulation, her
Children were truly, needing.

Talking with wisdom, she was as wise, as an owl.
Speaking with a country drawl,
Sometimes on her face,
She wore a mean scowl.

Momma Helen, was married twice.
She birth twelve children.
It seems, she thought a dozen, would be nice.

She loved her children, as much as she knew how.
From what she was taught, that's all her heart
Would allow.

Momma Helen, was full of life, having fun
And taking spins on the dance floor.

She played dominos, checkers, cards and keno.
Playing for money, most times winning as she
Kept, score.

Momma Helen, climbing up and down the banks
Of Sacramento, fishing.
Spending that time, thinking and wishing.

She held a great respect, for money.
Hiding and saving it, like it was serious and
not funny.
And now the light is gone from Momma Helens eyes.
In a convelesant center, in a fetal position our
Momma lies.
Hoping for recovery, her children watch and cry.
No matter what momma, we'll be standing-by.

Sweet and Thoughtful

He's ready to spend a nickel.
Even ready to spend a dime.
Sweet and Thoughtful, comes baring gifts,
each and every time.

Sweet and Thoughtful is loving, he's generous too.
He never misses an opportunity, to get next to you.

Sweet and Thoughtful, lays it on the line.
He straight that says, "I want you to be mine".

Quick to the point. He says, "baby let me
stay around for awhile."
He says, "I'll be good to you girl, and on
your face, you'll always wear a smile."

Sweet and Thoughtful, wants to provide his love.
Watch his actions, they speak louder than his words.
And with a slow hand, he will never
Push, nor shove.

Most important, when Sweet and Thoughtful,
Whispers, 'Woman I care.'
He then tells you, "All that I have,
Everything that I own, with you I am
Willing to share."

Are you listening, males and females?
Then take note, and copy that.

Dirty Old Men

Dirty Old Men, watching pornographic
movies, with their five finger of joy.
It seems their always playing, with their
Favorite toy.

What's an old man to do?
When everything is falling and failing too.

Fantasizing about their youth and days of old.
Mesmerized by books of playboy, with it's
girly center fold.

Dirty Old Men, with their smelly rubs and
Swollen joints, to show.
What makes them think, they can still get
Up and go?

Watching young women, as they sit, stare and
Giggle,

Dirty Old Men, before you've drawn your last
breath, and every dream turns to dust.
You'll realize, all your thoughts,
every wild, untamed imagination, was
nothing but lust.

Insignificant

Insignificant, is what he thinks of her.
Her feelings for him were real, that's for sure.
He played on her gentleness and sweet demure.
He played her hard, he played her deep.
He made her think, she was not good enough to keep.

He made her, his secret lover.
Hoping no one, would ever discover.
Because she opened up to him and became flirty.
He began to treat her mean and dirty.

After feeling Insignificant, for a while.
She decided, he would never cramp her style.
She's dating other guys and having a ball.
I guess it's safe to say, she was never
Insignificant, after all.

Think About It

Criss Cross, you never know when your
gonna be tossed.
You talked, loud and proud, but now it's you,
That's getting bossed.

How did it happen?
You, no longer have control.
Now, what is your role?

You were moving too fast.
You've lost your place.
You're no longer first, now you're last.

Think a thought, look what your behind has bought.
His fire for you was hot, so you thought.
Another, lesson learned.
Once again, you have been burned.

Take a little time to think about it.

Easier

It would be Easier, if romance had
never consumed her mind.
Much Easier, because it has taken up
So much, of her time.

Did I say Easier?
Seems love with all it's lessons, made
Life for her hard.
It's too bad, she tried to make the joker, her
Winning card.

Would it be Easier?
If her passion for his love, with all it's woe.
Hadn't left her with a heart that's broken,
Desperate and no place to go.

Loves dreams, seemed to cloud her eyes.
Her eyes will be clear, when she says her
Final good-byes.

It would be Easier, if she didn't have to cope
with life's many changes, and events.
So think quick and blink slow. Before you know,
Your whole life is spent.

Kissing Frogs

I'm spending my time, leaping with the frogs.
And other times, I'm barking with the dogs.

Tell me, have you ever kissed, a frog?

Kissing Frogs, is what we ladies do,
from time to time.
Forever searching, for the Prince, we're
trying to find.
Sometimes, we kiss them for no reason,
rhythm, or rhyme.

Maybe the frog is what's available, to be mine.
It could be, the frog shows more respect
And is always kind.
Even much more, the frog takes me out,
For wine and dine.

If your answer is yes, to kissing a frog,
Without you crying.
Then on this paper your name, you
Should be signing.

Lonely Old Players

Lonely Old Players, living hard and trying
To make sure, they still have game.
Forever acting cool, so no one thinks, their lame.

Recalling days, of street life hustling, drugs
And pimping women, of which they name as fame.

Lonely Old Players, getting too old to make a change
or be tamed.
They try to appear domesticated, but that's a lie and
a shame.
It doesn't matter, what they do in life, Gods love
remains the same.

Seeking and searching, for the fortune they never,
made.
They wonder through cities and state, hustling to
Get paid.
Hoping they themselves, will never get played.

So until they're laid to rest, they'll keep trying to
survive.

Jack O Lantern of Love

First on you, he shines his lantern bright.
Then, Jack O Lantern comes, to capture your
Heart, like a phantom in the night.
He then disappears swiftly, before the morning
Light.

Could he be a dream?
Is he really real?
Maybe, he's just perfect, for this deal.

Your kisses, Jack O Lantern comes to steal.
Your body, he takes at will.

In the dark of night, he comes time after time.
The feeling he leaves you with, is intense and
sublime.
Be careful Jack, loving like that could be a crime.

The sound of his car, is quietly low.
You never hear him come, you never hear him go.

Ladies one day, Jack O Lanterns light,
May shine your way.
When that happens, kick back and
Get ready for the famous love games,
He will surely play.
