'Reading aloud to our children makes them clever. Reading aloud makes them happy. And it makes us happy, too. Even in our bedtime exhaustion we can't help but revel a little in the atmosphere, the ridiculous delight of it, the mad joy of it, and the depth of love in it.' 'Reading Magic' is Mem Fox's impassioned plea to parents to read aloud to children from birth, and increase their literacy with glorious results. Humorous, practical, warmly anecdotal and inspiring, the book shows that reading aloud for ten minutes a day can help your child be successful for life! The book will help parents know what to read aloud to children, how to read aloud to children and when to read aloud to children. It is not just about knowing how to read and write, but how these skills make successful people. Read aloud to your child and watch him or her succeed. 145 pages. Tanning to pages.
