About the Author: Mark Wrathall is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of California Riverside. He has edited and co-edited a number of volumes on Heidegger's thought, including Heidegger Re-examined; Appropriating Heidegger; Heidegger, Coping and Cognitive Science; and Heidegger, Authenticity and Modernity. He co-edited the Blackwell Companion to Heidegger.
