Paperback. As a React Native developer, you've probably spent countless hours building beautiful cross-platform apps. But here's the uncomfortable truth: attackers are working just as hard to break them. That's exactly why I wrote React Native Security Guide. Security isn't the most glamorous part of app development. Let's be honest-most developers would rather build cool features than spend an afternoon worrying about token storage, certificate pinning, reverse engineering, or whether a third-party package is secretly causing trouble. Unfortunately, cybercriminals don't care how elegant your UI looks. This book is your practical roadmap to building React Native applications that are not only fast and functional but also secure, resilient, and trustworthy. Whether you're a beginner looking to understand mobile security fundamentals or an experienced developer wanting to strengthen your app protection strategy, you'll find actionable guidance, real-world insights, and proven security practices throughout these pages. Inside this book, you'll discover how to: - Understand the unique security challenges of React Native applications - Identify attack surfaces and reduce common vulnerabilities - Implement secure authentication and authorization systems - Protect user sessions, tokens, and sensitive information - Secure APIs and network communications - Apply encryption and cryptographic best practices - Safely manage secrets, credentials, and environment variables - Defend against reverse engineering and code tampering - Detect rooted and jailbroken devices - Secure third-party libraries and software supply chains - Perform security testing and vulnerability assessments - Build monitoring, incident response, and long-term security strategies Along the way, we'll tackle topics such as secure local storage, certificate pinning, code obfuscation, runtime protection, dependency management, penetration testing, and much more-without drowning you in unnecessary jargon. My goal isn't to turn you into a cybersecurity expert overnight. Instead, I want to help you develop the mindset, habits, and technical skills needed to create applications that attackers will find much harder to compromise. Because security isn't a feature you add at the end of a project. It's a foundation you build from the beginning. If you're ready to move beyond simply making apps work and start making them secure, React Native Security Guide will help you protect your code, your users, your data, and your reputation. Build smarter. Code safer. Sleep better. Your users-and your future self-will thank you. This item is printed on demand.
