An attractive and well-preserved 1869 edition of Rays Series Analytic Geometry by Joseph Ray, M.D. and George H. Howison MA , published in Cincinnati. FIRST EDITION. This antique mathematics text remains in very good condition for its age and would make an excellent addition to a collection of early educational, scientific, or nineteenth century American academic works. The original cloth binding shows expected signs of age and handling including rubbing, edge wear, and slight bumping, particularly along the edges and bottom of the spine, but the cover remains fully intact and structurally sound. The binding is remarkably tight and secure. Interior pages display some foxing typical of a volume of this era. No writing, highlighting, or other markings were found within the text. A solid and highly displayable nineteenth century educational volume from the well-known Rays Series of mathematical works. BR Shelf 188.
