An engraving by Eric Ravilious for the Curwen Press Newsletter, no. 6, created by Ravilious in 1933 and issued by Curwen in April 1934. The letterpress booklet, with one page of explanatory text printed on Basingwerk Parchment, features two versions of the engraving; one printed directly into the frontispiece from the original Curwen electrotype, and the other, loosely inserted into a pocket, is from the original wood block. Softcover, 17 x 27m, printed in a limited edition of 120 copies only by The Fleece Press. The striking marbled paper wrappers are made by Jemma Lewis. New. Seller Inventory # 5561

I also reserve the right to decline to send a book overseas unless it is by signed-for airmail, or tracked courier service - which will have cost implications for the customer, although I will always search for the most competitive carrier. The extra cost of mailing a book by this method will always be presented to the customer at the point of order, who can accept or decline the costs involved.
