A lovely copy of the 4th volume of Hooper's four volume work. Snugly bound in period tree calf with morocco title label to spine, lacking the small oval "4" volume label; board edges tooled in gilt. Fourteen handsomely hand colored folding copperplate engravings are complete and very neat with three of the plates starting slightly at the front edge from misfolding and showing some mild soiling and supericial rubbing at the area where they extruded from the fore edge. Endpages complete and unmarred. Joints quite sound; surfaces bright and neat with no skinning or rubbing. Just mild bumping and trace rub to corners and only mild scattered foxing to the text.
