Does truth exist? Can we believe the Bible? Did Jesus Christ exist and rise from the dead? Does salvation through Jesus have any foundation? “A Rational Path to Christ” is a road to discovering the truth of Jesus Christ (“The Path”). It is a collection of 9 Steps taken separately and sequentially that lead to a practical, defensible validation of Jesus Christ and His purpose.
After journeying The Path, many have overcome skepticism in Christianity, rejected their foundationless basis for their previous beliefs, and/or strengthened their confidence in Jesus and the Bible. The Path provides a rational method for those who seek truth and do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, attend church only to fulfill a perceived obligation, or seek to gain greater knowledge to share their Biblical faith in Jesus.
The journey begins with a Path description, overview and “Truth” guide. Each individual Step begins and ends with a pivotal question, “Would Your Life Change IF ... (Fill in the Path Step)?” Based on your assessment at each Step conclusion you will define a ranking of evidence and truth. The following is a summary of each Path Step:
Path Step 1 – Truth Exists
Truth exists. How does truth influence your life purpose? What is your life purpose? If He is truth, what do God and the Bible describe about your purpose?
Path Step 2 – The Bible Is Compelling & Credible
The Old Testament is validated by meticulous transcription through the ages, abundant realized prophecies and a plethora of archaeological evidence of scriptural accounts. Is the Biblical testimony of the Red Sea crossing and Mt. Sinai truth? If so, there are great implications for you.
Path Step 3 – You Lost God Due to Your Sins
Step 2 evidence is a strong foundation. If God and the Bible are true, of what relevance are the Ten Commandments from Mt. Sinai? You have sinned and you do not complete God’s purpose for humankind. Your sin is separating you from the God of Creation!
Path Step 4 - God Has A Plan to Forgive Sin
In the previous Step, you learned sin is in your account. You need a means to remove sin. How does God forgive sin? Path Step 4 defines the critical ingredient for sin forgiveness as defined in the Sin Offering and Day of Atonement sacrifice prescribed by God at Mt. Sinai. It establishes a foundation for the New Testament.
Path Step 5 - Jesus Lived, Died & Resurrected
Did Jesus Christ live, die and resurrect, and why? What proof shows Jesus is real? The evidence that Jesus lived, was crucified and resurrected is compelling. Isn’t that noteworthy? Shouldn’t that matter?
Path Step 6 - Jesus Is the Key to Salvation
How does Jesus save us from sin and reconcile us to our God? How does Jesus help you with the critical ingredient? Jesus fulfilled the requirement of the Sin Offering and Day of Atonement sacrifice. He fulfilled the Passover. Is Jesus the Key to salvation?
Path Step 7 - Salvation Reunites You & God
Does salvation redeem you to God and His purpose for humankind? What is salvation and how do you receive it? What does the Bible actually say about Heaven and Hell? How can you receive salvation and relationship with the true God?
Path Step 8 - The Holy Spirit Can Guide Your Path
Who is the Holy Spirit and what happens to you when you believe? You become a new, eternal being with the power of the Holy Spirit. Has your spirit been renewed for eternity? How have you changed with the indwelling Holy Spirit?
Path Step 9 - You Can Live Truth
Can you live your life with purpose based on truth? In Path Step 9, you relive the crucifixion in detail, and walk each Step to learn where you are on A Rational Path to Christ. Are you living with Jesus? Are you living with truth? Do you know Christ?
So, where are you on A Rational Path to Christ?
