About the Author: Henriette Sauvant was born in 1967, studied illustration in Hamburg, and became well-known for her beautiful book covers. Anthea Bell has worked as a translator for many years, primarily in French and German. Her translations include many classic works for young people. She has been awarded a number of prizes and is one of the most highly regarded translators working today. She lives in Cambridge.
