A revised edition of the original published in 1909 by Methuen and Co, London, and now includes an introduction by Charles Mitchell. A comprehensive book on Raphael. 14 color plates, either full-page or double-page. 273 full-page monochrome plates. Red boards with bright gold lettering, are worn at corners; spine is sun-faded but gold lettering is still legible; worn and torn at top of spine, worn on bottom. Top edge of text block lightly soiled. Binding is loose, but all pages are intact. Interior pages are clean, unmarked, untorn. 130 pages of text plus about 285 pages of images. 8 1/2" x 11 1/4" x 1 1/2". Heavy book. additional shipping fee for international orders.
