An ancient enemy resurfaced. A fledgling resistance. A vengeance that could burn the galaxy.
The Galactic Human Federation has fallen in a silent and well-planned coup. The Magisterium Purim, an ancient enemy of the Federation, scrubbed from historical records, has seized control of the galaxy.
On the run from this hidden enemy that has tried to kill him more than once, fugitive former ranger Ralth Eric Martin joins forces with a nascent resistance led by his estranged brother Gel. But courage isn't enough against a foe powerful enough to take over the galaxy. The resistance finds itself facing total annihilation.
Ralth is forced into a tenuous alliance when a former enemy offers a lifeline. With this new ally's resources, the resistance starts to fight back against the tyrannical Magisterium. But in the cold space of a galaxy at war, "help" comes with a price.
Ralth's shadowy ally isn't fighting for the galaxy's freedom. He's fighting for his own bloody vengeance, and he'll gladly burn the entire galaxy to get it.
As trust wavers and the war heats up, a shocking ghost from Ralth's past appears, changing everything. In a galaxy where everyone wears masks, Ralth must keep his secret alliance together or lose everyone that he is trying to save.
