Neuware - Gavin Crest has always pushed himself to the limit. After twenty-three years as a Marine Master Sergeant, he built his security agency from the ground up. He also has a taste for the darker side of passion. He has experienced it all, except for the one woman he can't have-a woman who deserves more than a man tainted by darkness. Jessie Miller has worked for Gavin Crest for years, and she has loved him for nearly as long. She offered herself to him, body and soul. When he refused, she walked away, vowing to cut him from her heart. She never expected to find him on her doorstep, insisting she trust him with her life. A cold-blooded killer threatens Crest's team, and the FBI has been given enough evidence to put Jessie in jail for life. Once he's in close proximity with her, all restraint is left behind. As passion rises and danger tightens its grip, he must race against time to prove her innocence, shield her from harm, and confront his deepest fears.before the darkness consumes them both.…
