This version of the Prophets bridges the gap between Bible stories and scholarly exegesis. A sampling of the later Prophets is illuminated by traditional commentary keyed to the text, which appears directly beneath it on every page. Students explore biblical texts alongside the midrashic interpretations that form core Jewish values. Key phrases are given in both Hebrew and English.
