Published in London in 1796 this is the second edition of this two volume work on Farming & Agriculture in Gloucestershire, North Wiltshire, Cotswold Hills, looking at Dairy Farming, and the Orchards and Fruit Liquor of Herefordshire and the process of making Cider, illustrated with a double page map the books are bound in the original drab blue boards with paper covered spines, 9 inches tall approx., 689 pages plus lengthy indexes CONDITION the bindings are showing some signs of wear with marking and some loss of paper covering else in good original condition, internally page edges untrimmed, with a few pages unopened along top edge, easily resolved with a sharp knife, some worming holes to inner margins of sections of pages to both volumes (see pictures), just toughing the text in a few paces else in good condition A GOOD ACCEPTABLE EXAMPLE OF THIS EARLY EDITION IN THE ORIGINAL BOARDS, this is a heavier item, overseas shipping costs will be higher than the basic standard quote.
