Red soft covers are very worn, and creased along edges and flaps. Also some tears along edges. Covers are discoloured, spine is very discoloured, covers contain many stains and marks. Small segments of cover missing from head and tail of spine. Title page contains inscription and signature from previous owner: "Bought in Rome 1932". Pages are thumbed. First and last page are foxed, dirty and stained. Few pages contain marks and stains, and are discoloured due to age. No publication year. Contains 664 illustrations.
