Brown slipcase, H 23cm x L 14.75cm, lightly rubbed with several spots of unobtrusive white discoloration; slipcase's orange-bordered white wrap-around label is lightly soiled with some scuffs; seams are firm. No dust jacket (as issued). Hardcover: H22.25cm x L 14.25cm. Blue cloth spine; green cloth boards; bright gilt stamping to spine and front board. Top corner of pages 51-52 creased from past fold-down; interior leaves are otherwise bright and clean. Binding retains some crispness. Translation of "Souvenirs personnels; La visite de R. Wagner a Rossini (Paris 1860)" and "Souvenirs: Une soiree chez Rossini a Beau-Sejour.".
