539 pages. "Hannah Mather Crocker (1752 - 1829) was born in Boston Mssachusetts to the Rev. Samuel Mather son of the Rev. Cotton Mather, and Hnnah Hutchinson siste of the Royal Governor of Massachhusetts, making her a Boston "blue blood" on both sides. Steeped in Boston's history, she composed the Reminiscences in the 1820s, in two versions, and created its appendix of related historical and liteary texts. When Crocker wrote this book, she had every hope that it would soon be published. After more than 180 years n manuscript form, her expectations have been fullfilled. Published for the first time in its entirety, this book contains an ably transcribed and annotated version of the text and appendix from the original manuscript." FINE HARDCOVER, FINE DUST JACKET.
