THE RELUCTANT KING OF AI
Randall never wanted power.
He wanted systems that worked.
From the earliest days of the internet, Randall built companies, partnerships, and technologies by doing something few leaders ever mastered: helping people trust one another.
While Silicon Valley raced toward growth at any cost, Randall focused on something different—alignment. His ability to bring competitors together, calm conflict, and build organizations that survived beyond any single leader earned him an unexpected reputation.
Some began calling him the King of AI.
He hated the title.
As artificial intelligence becomes the foundation beneath banking, government, healthcare, transportation, and global infrastructure, Randall finds himself at the center of a challenge larger than any company or technology.
Then an unexpected medical diagnosis changes everything.
What follows is a journey across decades, continents, friendships, and family secrets that forces Randall to confront the one thing he never planned for: his own mortality.
Set against the rise of the internet and the dawn of artificial intelligence, The Reluctant King of AI is a story about leadership, legacy, trust, and the relationships that ultimately matter more than any technology we build.
Because systems may change the world.
But people are the reason they matter.
