Volume 10 without list of ills., upper wrapps bound in, the earlier issues with pencil signature of Miss Parker or C. Drury, some wrapps. chipped and several with loss, some browning and spotting, occasional annotations, rebound in modern gilt lettered half morocco with marbled boards, vols. 7-8 and 8-9 with repaired hinges, minor wear. Upper wrapps. No. 5. volume 2, No. 7 Volume 2, No. 12 volume 3 , No. 10 Volume 3, No. 13 Volume 3 inscribed to Miss Parker from LL Jewitt, 1861-1863. The reliquary: quarterly journal and review; 1863-1894. The reliquary: quarterly archæological journal and review; 1895-1909. The reliquary and illustrated archaeologist, a quarterly journal and review.Llewellynn Frederick William Jewitt (or Llewellyn) (1816–1886) British illustrator, engraver, natural scientist and author. In 1860 Jewitt founded his own heavily illustrated and lavishly produced antiquarian journal The Reliquary, of which he was editor until his death in 1886 when it was continued by others. Under his editorship the journal's focus was heavily on Derbyshire and the Peak, reflecting Jewitt's then home location at Winster Hall, Derbyshire. US$200.
