She ran six hundred miles to escape him. She had no idea she ran straight into his world.
Nadia Vale arrives in Mirren City with two bags, a deadbolt, and the quiet determination of a woman rebuilding herself from the inside out. Apartment 4B is supposed to be a fresh start no one who knows her, no one who can find her, no history pressing against the walls.
But on her first night, she sees him.
The man across the hall. Tall, pale-eyed, still in a way that living people are never quite still. He stands in the corridor for four seconds, staring at her door number as if he expected someone else to be behind it. Then he disappears into 4A and says nothing.
Cole Maren has been in this building for six weeks, hunting a ghost. A woman who vanished and left no trace - except for what Nadia finds hidden behind her bathroom mirror: a USB drive, nine encrypted files, and sixteen words that make her blood run cold.
Trust no one in the building. Start with the man across the hall.
As Nadia and Cole unravel the secrets Sophie left behind, the danger around them grows darker and more personal than either of them expected. Because the man pulling the strings is not just a criminal. He is the person Nadia thought she had already escaped.
And Cole is not entirely what he seems.
The Quiet Across the Hall is a seductive, heart-racing paranormal romance about two damaged people drawn together by secrets, survival, and a connection neither of them can outrun in a city where the night holds far more than shadows.
Perfect for fans of dark romance, slow-burn suspense and vampire love stories that keep you reading past midnight.
