Add to basketA shadow lies over Tolgaria, a land at the mercy of the evil witch-queen, Minerva. Minerva’s dark magick has made her virtually untouchable. And to replenish her power, she needs the souls of children.
Alexandria, a young healer, knows that something must be done about the queen’s monstrosity. When her mother reveals that Minerva’s magick comes from the spider pendant she always wears, Alexandria decides to set out to defeat the queen. Her conscience won’t let her keep quiet. If Alexandria can destroy the necklace, she might be able to save her family and her kingdom.
On the road, Alexandria meets Calum, a horse breeder with secrets of his own. She also enlists the help of her best friend, Demetrius, a warrior from the Amatar tribe, a sensual race with magickal powers. Alexandria relies on these and other allies as her quest becomes more and more dangerous.
As in any epic battle between good and evil, there are many thrilling twists and turns and enthralling revelations. The story of The Queen’s Necklace is one that young-adult fantasy fans won’t want to miss!
Amanda Simoni and her family moved around often when she was younger, which sparked her passion for traveling. She loves visiting other countries and would eventually like to visit every continent.
Amanda has worked at Banff and Jasper National Parks in Canada. Currently she lives in Calgary, Alberta, and owns a bookkeeping business there with her mother.
When she is writing, Amanda likes to bounce ideas for stories off her older brother, with whom she is very close. In addition to writing and travel, she enjoys photography and watching TV and movies.
