Queen Bea. This item is unavailable.Queen Bea

When a bee named Beatrice hatches into a golden hive bursting with buzzing energy, she's shockingly told that she's the new queen! How could that be? That role feels far too big for a bee who experiences the world differently than everyone else. With so much noise, so many expectations, and what feels like a thousand eyes watching her every move, Bea begins to wonder whether she truly belongs. She sadly leaves the hive in search of quiet, connection and way to make sense of the world.

Told with humor, warmth and a message of authentic self-acceptance, Queen Bea is a beautifully illustrated picture book that celebrates sensitivity as a superpower. Young readers will cheer for Bea as she discovers confidence in herself and learns that leadership doesn't require being the fastest bee. Beatrice encourages children to embrace their superpower and be themselves. That is enough. Perfect for ages 5-9 (and younger listeners for story time), this encouraging tale will resonate with fans of The Very Important Caterpillar, The Good Egg, and characters like Mo Willem's Elephant & Piggie who navigate big feelings with bravery and charm.
