[14],522 pp.; 523-871,[16] pp. Full red morocco with gilt double-rules on sides, gilt decorated spine in six compartments with a black morocco label, a.e.g., green ribbon markers, and marbled endpapers. Handsome anonymous armorial bookplate with the motto "loyalte na honte" (perhaps belonging to a Duke of Newcastle) on front pastedown in each volume. The once elegant bindings show moderate shelfwear, with joints tender and cracking. Posthomerica: Original Greek text on verso, with a Latin translation on facing page. Seller Inventory # 83718
