Who isn’t familiar with this classic of world literature? Don Quixote of La Mancha, written by Miguel de Cervantes in 1605, is one of the most important and celebrated works of all time. Its main character, a knight who loses his sanity after reading too many books about chivalry, has become a symbol of imagination, courage, and the pursuit of ideals. This story, full of humor, adventure, and reflection, has been translated into many languages and continues to captivate readers of all ages and cultures.
In this special edition, we aim to bring the world of Don Quixote closer to students who are taking their first steps in learning Spanish. With simple and clear language, adapted to level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), this version preserves the essence of the original work while presenting the content in a way that is accessible to learners. This way, you can enjoy the adventures of the ingenious gentleman and his loyal squire, Sancho Panza, while improving your Spanish in an entertaining and culturally enriching way.
