Fraying to head and tail of jacket. Name on front paste-down. The work is divided into four sections for different classes of proofs: "Algebraic Proofs through Linear Relations", "Geometric Proofs 10 Types", "Quaternionic Proofs", "Dynamic Proofs". Probably Loomis' most well known work; a compendium of more than 250 proofs of the Pythagorean theory. Loomis wrote several other works including "Original Investigation or How to Attack an Exercise in Geometry" and was a professor of mathematics at Baldwin University. Seller Inventory # 79977
