PUT YOUR BRAIN FIRST: RADICALLY IMPROVE THE WAY YOU AGE is a collaboration from the brain trust at Activate Brain & Body, a science-based brain health company that has created innovative, dual-tasking brain and body workouts that build cognitive reserve. Cognitive reserve is the extra physiological brainpower you need to offset the natural declines of aging on the brain and potentially avoid cognitive decline.
Composed of brain health and exercise experts, and after years of research and trial programs, the authors have launched a new company that uses these workouts to help people above age 45 take charge of the way they age.
Inside this book you will learn:
- Why we put your brain health first
- Easy first steps to better brain health
- How The Cognitive Circuit will activate your brain
- Why focusing on your brain also gives you a better body
- New ways to think about aging and longevity.
"The point of exercise is to build and condition the brain."
–Marie Stoner, Chief Science Officer / Co-Founder
Activate Brain & Body, in Chapter 6
"Our results showed that it is possible to build a sharper,
more resilient brain. Even better, when you do so using
the Activate process, all measures of physiological
fitness—cardiac health, reaction times, agility and balance,
endurance—also improve." Chapter 1
"Our philosophy at Activate Brain & Body is for you
to compete only with the previous version of you,
not to compete with others or compare to some
unrealistic athletic standard. And so, we measure
everything to keep you on track to reach your goals."
–Martin Pazzani, Chairman/Co-Founder
Activate Brain & Body, in Chapter 5
The life-changing advice and expertise in this book can activate your brain, sharpen your senses, invigorate your body, and ignite your spirit. It's like turning back the clock or maybe even getting your superpowers back.
