Illustrated hardcover in red cloth boards w/rubbed corners and spine ends. Spine darkened but black title still legible. No other date than 1921 but there are 2 letters: G- V under the date at bottom of copyright page so not sure what the deal is with the date. Inner hinge papers cracked, page block holding fine. Fep removed = 3 color illustrated endpapers. Lignum High School is hand written twice on the 2nd fep, but there are no stamps or other exlib marks, no call tag, no pocket or evidence of ever having had one (unless it was on the now missing fep). One 1/2" closed tear at the foot of page 10 is the only tear found in text. Darling reading copy, the first in the 10 book Puss In Boots Jr. series all written by David Cory. Seller Inventory # 2869
