About this Item
A month to a page calendar, 7" x 5" approximately, card backing, hanging string at top, each page in three sections: the calendar, a tear off slip 'Fill your name and address here and pin to article' and a gummed address label for posting items of clothing to Pullars. Complete and unused, just a touch of crinkling. A delightful and remarkable survivor! Pullars of Perth was founded by John Pullar in 1824 and pioneered the first synthetic dyes, later expanding into dry cleaning. It had a large network of over 7,500 agents throughout Britain each displaying the distinctive Pullars enamel sign, examples of which are easily found even today. It remained a family business until it was taken over by Eastmans of London in 1917, although it still continued to trade under the Pullars name. UK postage for this item will be lower than the ABE default rate. Seller Inventory # 6251
