Hardcover. ?Public Library User Fees is a careful examination of the question of charging fees, written from the perspective of public finance and time-allocation theory. These are complex perspectives, but Van House manages to do a good job of presenting the information in an understandable manner. . Van House provides a solid rationale for charging fees, something that has been lacking, but points out that the choice to impose fees is a major policy decision that must take a number of factors into account. She gives us sensible information to help deal with a difficult question.?-Wilson Library Bulletin This item is printed on demand.
