Paperback. "What is life - a dream, a nightmare or a fading memory?"Over a millennia ago the apocalyptic event Belial forced the abandonment of Earth. This complete exodus led to the foundation of new colonies and civilizations on distant worlds. Beyond Earth, amidst the stars, humans have spread out across the galaxy. The human race continues to survive and evolve. Individuals with extraordinary abilities have emerged throughout society, capable of performing amazing feats with their minds. These Psionics bear a great burden to use the powers responsibly - but with such power comes even greater fear. Society has labelled Psionics as degenerates, terrorists and rebels. They are outcast from normal life and hunted down like rabid dogs by the Solomon State. Now as humans fight amongst themselves, the darkness that forced them from their home world has returned to the galaxy. Its intent? To finish what it had started. For the last twenty years Doctor Frost has sought out the most powerful Psionics - key individuals capable of standing against the darkness, against prejudice and fear - and against all odds he has finally found them. But now the true test begins: he must bring them together and show them the truth of who they really are.Somehow these individuals who have never met and come from completely different walks of life know each other - beyond memories, beyond dreams, beyond multiple lifetimes. They must bridge their differences and explore untested relationships if they are to stop the return of Belial. But time is not on their side, for their enemies have found them. The hunt has begun, but it is unclear who is the hunted and who is doing the hunting. Can Doctor Frost and his Psionics learn to trust each other and defeat Belial before the State destroys them? Will they be strong enough to face the truth that awaits them back on Earth? Only time will tell. This item is printed on demand.
