Print on Demand. This book, first published in 1907, concerns the contentious issue of exclusive use of the Book of Psalms in Christian praise. The author analyzes the origins and history of this practice, arguing that it is based on incorrect application of biblical principles. The book delves into relevant Old and New Testament passages, presenting well-reasoned and biblically supported insights. Despite its focus on an issue that has divided Presbyterian churches, the book steers clear of controversy, instead approaching the matter with thoughtful and nuanced discussion. The author's careful analysis and clear presentation make this book an essential read for anyone seeking to understand the complexities of worship and the role of music within it. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
