Print on Demand. This book is a cheerful and lively collection of comedies from 19th century Germany. The stories center around everyday situations, such as the misadventures of an absent-minded professor or the rivalry between a landowner and his neighbor. The author pokes fun at the foibles of human nature, and their insights into the human condition are still relevant today. These comedies offer a delightful glimpse into German literature and culture of the time, and will appeal to readers who enjoy a lighthearted and entertaining read. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
