- Book 2 of 7: Magic Spells
Personal safety and security are common concerns in these turbulent times. In an often-hostile world, we could all use a little help. And help can be found in the comfort and ritual power of protection spells. This book aims to convey the simplicity of the practice and its value to everyone.
Springing from neo-Pagan traditions like Wicca, protection spells don’t require any affiliation to a particular dogma. They don’t need a hierarchy or mediating. What protection spells ask of you is intention, solemnity, humility, and respect for the elements you call on in your casting.
In this book about protection spells, the focus is on the fact that protection spells (and magic in general) are for everyone.
In this book, you will:
- Learn about Wicca and how it ritually interacts with the five physical and spiritual elements.
- Discover why intention is one of the most important components of any spell or ritual.
- Learn how to recognize the signs of a psychic attack, hexing, or cursing.
- Learn how the sacred, protective circle is cast and why.
- Discover ancient symbols of protection (both popular and religious).
- Learn what a sigil is and how to make your own personal sigil.
- Master how to banish negative energies from your home through casting, protection jars, ritual cleansing, and other protection rites.
- Distinguish between hexes and curses and how to break them, including an aggressive response alternative against the strongest of ill-intentions.
- Learn how to deflect psychic attacks with psychic shielding and create a protective bubble.
- Discover what evil forces are, how to banish them and what the goddess Hecate has to do with it.
- Master how to stop gossips and slanderers in their tracks with a selection of specific spells.
- Master protecting your loved ones (and your pets) with purpose-built spells and the indulgence of the god Janus.
- Learn about the phases of the moon and its role in your elemental practice.
- Discover how to empower yourself with regularly practiced rituals and create personal, self-tailored rituals for the New and Full moons.
