See photos for condition details. Hardcover, faded purple cloth boards blind stamped with gilt to spine. Exterior shows bumps and wear along edges and corners and spine is heavily sunned with edge chips. Small paper label present near bottom of spine. Internal binding is good with only minor hinge pulling. Text pages are tight. The backside of frontispiece shows evidence of a name stamp in green and original owner's name is penciled at the top of the title page. No other markings found other than some smudge marks and stains. Pages are toned due to age and scattered foxing is present. The pages that contain the illustrations are quite brown in the illustration on page 444 has a two inch tear at the top near the hinge area. Good reading copy.

Store description

Yesterday's Book Shop is a small, family-owned establishment. The store first opened in Maryland in 1966 under the name The Collector's Corner, which mainly dealt in older books, stamps and assorted ephemera. In 1975 the name was changed to Yesterday's Book Shop when the main focus became only books and printed matter.

Specialty

First editions, signed editions, limited editions, pre-1950 collectible copies with most being around the turn of the twentieth century and earlier.
