A well educated Afro-American tells the truth about his own family and story from the Projects to Princeton. John I. Cook left his hometown of White Plains, NY to attend an all boys' private Episcopalian boarding school in New Hampshire. From there, he receives an academic scholarship to Princeton University where he synthesizes many experiences into his own background and family values in order to survive and succeed. His parents remained married and supportive throughout John's growth and development. Life continues to unfold with his move from the North to the South and John hangs tough. Society isn't always fair! Read about it now.
