Synopsis:

The Project Science scheme is a must for any teacher of 7-11 year olds. Written to match the National Curriculum and QCA schemes of work, the books contain attractively laid out photocopiable sheets and easy-to-use teachers' notes - everything you need to teach science successfully. The team of authors includes science specialists, primary school and special needs teachers. They have worked together to produce material that is clearly written, scientifically accurate and which primary school pupils will enjoy. Physical Processes contains over 70 photocopiable sheets. The teachers' notes give background information, ideas for extensions, answers to pupil pages, resources needed and teaching/safety notes. Topics covered include electricity, forces and motion, light and sound, and the Earth and beyond.

From the Author: What is Physical Processes?
This book is one of three primary school science books in a series entitled `Project Science` which were written for the Key Stage 2 level. Each book was written with both the latest Q.C.A. science scheme of work and the National Curriculum (England) in mind.

The books contain between sixty and seventy quality photocopiable children`s activity sheets plus teachers` background notes, useful words, required resources, ideas for extensions, a glossary and anticipated results.

The `Project Science` series is aimed at helping to reduce teachers` preparation time by providing high quality, appropriate and interesting science activities. It will help the non-science specialists to gain knowledge, and confidence and will provide resources required to teach the science component of the National Curriculum (key stage 2).

We are all experienced, full-time classroom teachers.
