Item description from seller

[NONE] 1969. (Mass market paperback) Near fine. 80pp. Folio, stapled. Progressive Labour was first published as a monthly magazine, then shifted to quarterly, and later, bi-monthly. The magazine was the official publication of the Progressive Labor Party, a Marxist-Leninist political party, primarily based in the USA. They are an anti-revisionist communist group, socialist in nature. This issue speaks to Maarxist-Leninist ideoplogy, the fight against nationalism, the PLP Trade Union Program, the FBI and the Black Panther Party, as well as other labour related issues of the time. The wrappers show light wear; else is clean and bright, albeit lightly age-toned, as may be anticipated. Black and white photographs. Editor Milton Rosen. Managing Editor S. Davidowicz.

Store description

Established in 1970. We specialize in Prairie Canadiana (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta), Travel & Exploration, The North, and Aboriginal Peoples ("North American Indian"). Although these areas comprise the main sections in the store, they are by no means our only focus! We boast an impressive Literature section, a vast array of Art Books and Gallery Catalogues, a respectable offering of Science & Medicine titles, and drool-worthy cabinets of antiquarian tomes (of course). A member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of Canada (ABAC), the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB), and the National Archival Appraisal Board of Canada (NAAB). We do appraisals, for insurance purposes, institutional, or otherwise. Open by chance or appointment. Feel free to call or email!…
