Neuware - Progress in Colorectal Surgery covers a variety of topics of current interest to the colorectal specialist. Recognizing that the surgeon does not work in isolation, the book integrates recent progress in imaging techniques for the anal canal and rectum, and will highlight medico-legal considerations. The book discusses key concepts that will assist general surgeons and colorectal consultants in their management of patients with a broad spectrum of anorectal and colonic disorders. It will be particularly useful to trainees approaching the final intercollegiate examination who have expressed a specialist interest in colorectal surgery. With a problem-oriented slant, this book is essential reading for all those with an interest in coloproctology.

Review
"An up-to-date, comprehensive analysis of recent developments in diagnosis and treatment of malignant and the most frequent benign diseases of the colon and rectum. a ] A very interesting book that could be considered a handy guide in everyday activities not only for gastroenterologists, surgeons and oncologist, but also for general practitioners. Medical students too could find it a valuable overview compendium." (L. S. Schipani, Digestive and Liver Disease, Vol. 38, 2006)
