The enlarged 3rd edition. Inscribed "Lt. Col. Carruthers. To his friend Dormont" to top of title page. Half tan leather with marbled boards; red leather spine label with gilt titles. Boards significantly rubbed and worn. Rear hinge and joint cracked though holding firm; front board held only by strings.
