A monumental work of 514 pages with approximately 175 profiles of individuals who have made significant contributions to the study of cardiovascular disease and a black & white illustration of the individual where possible. At the base of the spine at the front cover there is a light bump approximately 3/4 of an inch long which has no bearing on the reading and study of the material contained therein. Otherwise, book would grade new. A quite nice copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
