As John tries to rebuild his life, he falls in love with a young woman named Edith, but their relationship is complicated by his past and the secrets he keeps from her. Meanwhile, John's former employer, who is responsible for his downfall, is trying to track him down and bring him to justice. The Prodigal Pro Tem explores themes of redemption, forgiveness, and the consequences of one's actions. It is a character-driven novel that delves into the complexities of human relationships and the struggle to overcome one's past mistakes. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
