Signed on title page by Capt. John C. Calhoun, Calhoun's grandson of the same name, addressed to Capt. W. G. Roule. Green cloth boards are clean except for some sticker residue around spine. Endpaper has a split of 3-4 inches at front and back hinge, binding is otherwise good. Ex-library from The State newspaper collection with a couple of stamps and bookplate residue on endpaper. Corners and edges are scuffed. HB TNOS HS.
