About the Author
Dr. Muhammad Amirul Abdullah is a researcher at the Innovative Manufacturing, Mechatronics & Sports (iMAMS) Laboratory, under the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). He obtained both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He later pursued and completed his Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering at UMPSA, with his doctoral research focused on the application of machine learning architectures in sports-related technologies. His research interests include machine learning, robotics, control and automation, and sports engineering. His work bridges artificial intelligence and mechatronic systems to improve sports performance analysis, assistive technologies, and automation solutions.
Dr. Rabiu Muazu Musa holds a Ph.D. degree in Sports Science from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia. He obtained his M.Sc. in Sports Science from UniSZA and his B.Sc. in Physical and Health Education at Bayero University Kano, Nigeria. His research activity focused on the development of multivariate and machine learning models for athletic performance. His research interests include sports performance analysis, health promotion, sport and exercise science, talent identification, test, and measurement as well as machine learning in sports.
Syed Faris Syed Omar is currently the Head of ISN Tech responsible for R&D, innovation and commercialization of sports technology at the National Sports Institute of Malaysia (ISN). Syed Faris received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from University Technology of Malaysia (UTM). He worked at DAG Technologies, a private company providing engineering solutions for automotive and aerospace industry in Malaysia. His interests are in the area of sports technology equipment and system development for real world application.
Sulaf Assi is a reader in intelligent forensic data analysis at Liverpool John Moores University. Her research interests spread across multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary areas related to medication safety; patient safety; counterfeit medicines, drugs and lifestyle products; spectroscopy; mixed-method research and machine learning.
Dr. Pengcheng Liu is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of York, UK, with extensive international academic experience. Prior to his current position, he held roles as a senior lecturer at Cardiff School of Technologies, Cardiff Metropolitan University, and a joint research fellowship at Lincoln Centre for Autonomous Systems and Lincoln Institute of Agri-Food Technology at the University of Lincoln. His academic journey also includes positions at Bournemouth University, Zhongyuan Universityof Technology in China, and visiting fellowships at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Dr. Anwar P.P. Abdul Majeed is an associate professor and the head of department at the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Sunway University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Robotics from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). Prior to his current position, he served as an associate professor at the School of Robotics, Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University, and previously held roles as a senior lecturer and the head of program for Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Industrial Automation) at the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronics Engineering Technology, UMP. As a Chartered Engineer registered with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), UK, he is also a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK, and a senior member of IEEE. His research encompasses rehabilitation robotics, computational mechanics, applied mechanics, sports engineering, renewable and nuclear energy, sports performance analysis, and machine learning applications across various domains.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
