About the Author
Fushuan Wen (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1991, all in electrical engineering. He joined Zhejiang University as a Faculty Member in the School of Electrical Engineering in 1991, where he has been a Full Professor since 1997; he has also been a Full Professor with the Hainan Institute, Zhejiang University since 2022. He is a part-time distinguished professor in Hangzhou Dianzi University, China, and a visiting principal research scientist in Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Society, China. He has been listed in "Most Cited Chinese Researchers" in eight consecutive years since 2015 by Elsevier. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Energy Conversion and Economics (IET), the deputy Editor-in-Chief of Automation of Electric Power Systems, and serves as the editor, subject editor and associate editor of several international journals. His research interests include power industry restructuring, power system alarm processing, fault diagnosis and restoration strategies, smart grids and electric vehicles, as well as artificial intelligence applications in power and integrated energy systems.
Haoming Liu, male, born in February 1977, from Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. Professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Energy and Electrical Engineering, Hohai University. IEEE Senior Member, member of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, member of the Electrical Mathematics Committee of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, member of the Technical Committee of the Key Laboratory of Photovoltaic Power Generation Grid-connected Technology of Qinghai Province, selected into the Six Talent Peak Programs of Jiangsu Province, has been engaged in scientific research in the fields of smart grid, distributed renewable energy generation, electricity consumption and energy efficiency, electricity market, etc. In recent years, he has presided over more than 40 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects and enterprise commissioned projects, published more than 200 academic papers, including more than 100 SCI/EI indexed papers, authorized more than 10 national invention patents, won 8 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards, published 1 textbook of the 12th Five-Year Plan, and trained more than 80 graduate students.
Huiqing Wen (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2002 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2009, all in electrical engineering., From 2009 to 2010, he was an Electrical Engineer with the GE (China) Research and Development Center Company, Ltd., Shanghai, China. From 2010 to 2011, he was an Engineer with the China Coal Research Institute, Beijing, China. From 2011 to 2012, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Since 2013, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Suzhou, China, where he is currently an Professor. He has authored or coauthored more than 50 peer-reviewed technical papers in leading journals. His research interests include renewable energy, electric vehicle, power electronics, microgrid, and power semiconductor devices. Dr. Wen is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. He is the Associate Editor for IEEE Access, International Journal of Photoenergy, and Journal of Power Electronics.
Shunli Wang received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Information Engineering, Southwest University of Science and Technology, Mianyang, China. He is currently a Professor with the Southwest University of Science and Technology. He is currently an Authoritative Expert of the new energy research field and the Leader of New Energy Measurement and Control Research Team. He has undertaken more than 40 projects and 30 patents, authored or coauthored more than 150 research papers. Dr. Wang was the recipient of 20 awards, such as the Young Scholar, Science and Technology Progress Award, University-Enterprise Innovative Talent Team and National Electrical Safety and Quality Inspection Center (Sichuan) Academic Leader, developed multi-generational battery systems to improve the reliability and expand the application field with significant social and economic benefits.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Brook Bookstore On Demand, Bristol, United Kingdom, +39 3485885209, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
