Item description from seller

Rev. Dr. Edward (Eddie) Joseph Walsh was ordained a priest in April 1943. He wrote this when attached to the staff of St Finbarr's Seminary Farrenferris. He died in March 1968 when the Aer Lingus flight, on which he was a passenger, crashed near Tuskar Rock (ironically, he was, among other duties, chaplain to Cork Airport). This pamphlet, originally published in Christus Rex, was a response to the "White Paper Containing Government Proposals for Social Security" issued by the Department of Social Welfare, then headed by William Norton the Tanaiste and Head of the Labour Party. A light item. Postage will be reduced to 5 Euro at the time of dispatch. A clean and unmarked copy. Binding tight.
