The advantage of being as wise as one's neighbour in matters of business tends materially to the augmentation of our finances. Most of the forms given in this book are so partially known, (and many of them not at all,) that to those engaged in selling, by wholesale or retail, the saving, in many instances, will be very great indeed. In fine, the practitioner, the trader, and the consumer, meet their right-hand friend at every page. - Extract from the Preface.
