What if the greatest curse of your life was never a curse at all?
Xavier Garrison has spent sixteen years believing there's something wrong with him.
He hears animals speak. His dreams blur the line between memory and prophecy. And every answer he uncovers only leaves him with more questions.
Then everything changes.
Thrown into the hidden kingdom of Elyndor, Xavier finds himself surrounded by witches, wizards, jinn, ancient rivalries, and a kingdom whose future hangs by a thread. Alongside the fearless Raena Starseeker and the endlessly loyal Kaido, he must navigate a world where trust is fragile, every secret has consequences, and even the smallest choice can change history.
But some truths are more dangerous than lies.
Some families leave behind more than memories.
And some destinies come with a price no one should ever have to pay.
The Price of Forever: The Hidden Heir is the first book in an unforgettable YA fantasy series filled with friendship, mystery, political intrigue, magic, and unforgettable characters.
Because sometimes forever isn't measured in years...
It's measured by what you're willing to sacrifice.
E.S.A Pathan is a young fantasy author who has been telling stories since before she could properly read-first through pictures, then through words, and eventually through entire worlds. She began working on her debut novel on December 26, 2024. The story was originally titled Elyndor's Chosen, but after 17 days of writing and reimagining, it evolved into The Price of Forever, an emotionally driven fantasy that grew alongside her as a writer.
Her work blends magic, mystery, loyalty, and sacrifice, with a strong focus on characters and the bonds that shape them. Set across both magical and non-magical worlds, her stories explore belonging, identity, and the quiet strength found in love and friendship.
When she isn't writing, she runs a YouTube channel where she shares creative and bookish content, connects with readers, and expresses her love for storytelling in different forms. She also enjoys crocheting-often creating while imagining new scenes and characters. Through her work, she hopes to give readers a place to escape, feel deeply, and believe that magic still exists.
