23, [1]pp., 24mo (4¾ x 3 inches). Woodcut frontispiece and five full-page illustrations, first and last leaves pasted to the wrappers as issued. Original printed drab wrappers; small tears to the edges and backstrip. Apparently the only edition, with an illustration to each tale: Solomon Wiseman, Johnny Badboy, Billy Blossom, The Cat and the Fish, and Nancy Wheatley. Osborne Collection, p. 949, suggesting the date.
