A Novel of Donald Thump — Crime Fighter
Introduction
The world knew him as Donald Thump: forty-fifth President of the United States, real estate titan, builder of empires, voice of the common citizen, and the most talked-about figure on the global stage. By day, he strode the halls of the White House in tailored elegance, spoke with unshakable confidence before cameras and crowds, and steered the course of nations with a steady hand and a bold vision. But what the world did not know — what not a single soul beyond three trusted engineers and himself ever suspected — was that the President had a second life. A secret identity. One that emerged when the sun went down and the work of state gave way to the work of shadows.
It began long before he took the oath of office. Decades spent mastering every trade, traveling every continent, and acquiring knowledge beyond the reaches of ordinary men had taught Thump one vital truth: the systems put in place to protect the people were too often slow, too bound by red tape, too easily manipulated by the very forces they were meant to oppose. Where governments moved in months, evil moved in minutes. Where committees debated, villains acted. And so Donald Thump had resolved to do what no man in his position had ever dared — to become the shield the world did not know it needed.
His tools were not the weapons of war, nor the machinery of state. They were creations of genius, born of his own imagination and brought to life by three of the most brilliant minds ever to serve beneath the White House roof. These were his Gadget Men — handpicked, sworn to silence, and bound by loyalty that transcended duty.
